He will be greatly missed by his wife, Dotti; his daughter and son-in-law, Caroline and Mark Wolff; his son and daughter-in-law, James (Jr.) and Jennifer Sizer; his five beautiful grandchildren, Elias, Taylor, Amos, Andrew and Sabrina; his mother, Winnie Sizer; his brothers and sisters-in-law: Frank and Scarlett Sizer, David and Patsy Sizer, Daniel and Donna Sizer; his sisters and brother-in-law: Lorene Sizer and Anna and Don Womble; his mother-in-law, Margie Johnson; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sarah Johnson and David Huston; all his cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, as well as a multitude of other family and friends.
Jim was born in Chicago, Illinois, on June 11, 1952, but got to Texas as fast as he could, on his 10th birthday. Jim, or Fred as his family knew him, joined the Air Force in 1973 and spent 20 amazing years serving our country on several bases around the United States and Germany. He was honorably retired, moved to Austin and rekindled his teenage romance with Dotti. They married on August 22, 1998.
There will be a memorial service to honor him on Monday, March 23, 2015, at 2 p.m., at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3208 Exposition Blvd., Austin, TX 78703. Everyone is welcome, either by your physical or spiritual presence. There will be a reception following the service in the Fellowship Hall at Westminster.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the veterans' charitable organization of your choice, or the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
