She graduated from the University of Texas, and was a music teacher for the Austin School District. Janice was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Pueblo, and St. John's United Methodist church in Austin where she loved singing in the choir. Janice enjoyed singing, music, and being with family. She will always be remembered for her beautiful angelic voice, and her love for her family.
She is survived by her daughter Jane (Bob) Van Matre and son James R. Casparis; grandchildren Lauren (Adam) Trimble, Michael (Larissa) Van Matre; and great grandchildren Henley Trimble and Anaïs Van Matre; brother Bert Schulle and family, and special friend Betty Bright.
