

Jeff loved ranching with his dad. He graduated from UT with a BBA Degree and immediately began working for the Austin National Bank where he became Senior Vice President. He also earned a Master's degree from Stonier Graduate School of banking at Rutgers University. He spent his life in community banking and commercial real estate while enjoying helping friends with their business problems.
He served as President of Downtown Rotary Club and became a Paul Harris Fellow. He served as Vice President of the Brown Schools and many other charities and clubs.
Jeff met his wife of 63 years, George Ann Langford, on a blind date. They had two sons, David E. Geeslin and his deceased wife Darla, and Benjamin L. Geeslin and his wife Ronette. He loved family outings to Port Aransas and hunting birds in Brady.
Many happy times were had at the Headliner's Club and Tarry House. He ushered and cooked breakfast at Good Shepherd with his team, wood carving was his hobby.
Jeff and George Ann have two grandsons, Jefferson II and Garrett Campbell. He has many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2014 at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 3201 Windsor Rd., The Rev. Morgan Allen and The Rev. Mike Russell will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, the Settlement Home, or Gentiva Hospice.
