Jeff N. Wilson was born in Abilene on March 4, 1974. Jeff lived every moment to the fullest, these were his words: You only get one shot at this life. Dont waste it. It could be gone any day. Travel. Blow some money. Go see some music, make some music, kiss someone on the mouth (preferably someone who wont sue you). Read a book. Write a book. Whatever. Just dont take life for granted. No one lies on their death bed wishing they had spent more time at the office. June 6, 2006. He graduated from Cleburne High in 1992, received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Baylor University in 1997 and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas Law School in May of 2000. Jeff married the love of his life, Mandy in 2001 and soon added to their family Max and Lucy their two dachshunds. Jeff began his legal career as a prosecutor for the Travis County Attorney. He enjoyed his work most recently as a criminal defense attorney with the Law Office of Joseph A. Turner, PC. Jeff had more energy and enthusiasm than most could imagine. He was a devoted and loyal husband, brother, son and friend. Jeff loved being outdoors, especially fishing on the Pedernales, working in the garden and on home projects, and tending the pond he was so proud of. Jeff, an avid music fan, and Mandy spent their time together listening to music, going to concerts, swimming at Barton Springs, traveling, watching movies, and spending time with their friends and family. Jeff went peacefully on July 10, 2006. He is survived by wife Mandy, parents Don and Jajuan Wilson of Buda, sister Diana and husband Ryan of California, and grandmothers Sue Wilson and Fay Rister. A celebration of Jeffs life will be held at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden at 6 pm Friday, preceded by a private graveside ceremony. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Amanda Wilson c/o Jeff Wilson Memorial Account, 1504 West Avenue, Austin, TX 78701. Obituary and guestbook online at wcfish.com
