Jeff always had a  warm, caring, loving heart and was always there to help.  I remember him helping me when my car wouldn’t start.   He loved helping me whenever I made my “damsel-in-distress” call to him.  Every Halloween I remember stopping by the Aarvig’s along with all the kids and other adults to  trick-or-treat.  We all enjoyed the treats the Aarvig’s so generously handed out! He loved telling stories and making other people laugh.  
I will always remember him as “living the dream” and letting everyone know that his head was “Not just a hat rack, my friend”.
My heart is saddened and my deep condolences go out to his family!

While I didn't know Jeff, I have been able to read the words provided by the many who did and shared memories of him about the good man he was and the wonderful things he did. 

Clearly, Jeff was raised by you Dr. Bob. He had the same heart filled with love and compassion for others and lived a life that put those two things into action to serve and help others.

It is never right when we lose a child, regardless of age. I am glad to know that you have a wonderful daughter that has the same heart as you and Jeff, as well as a church family that will hold you not only in their prayers, but in their arms.

My prayer is that you will glean some comfort now from the knowledge that one day you will be reunited with a son that you raised so well and loved deeply.

Jeff and I go all the way back to kindergarten at Swanson elementary.  Jeff, Louie Kohl and I were part of a "rat pack" through sixth grade. We were the best of mates.   We loved to play Kill The Man and cause havoc at recess, much to the consternation of the principal.   Jeff was smart, athletic and fun loving.  While we drifted apart after high school Jeff and I could pick up right where we left off at various reunions,  reminiscing about Swanson, Arbor Heights Junior High, Westside High, Woodcliff, his yellow Volkswagon and other things.  He will be missed.  God rest his sole.  My condolences to the family.

It was certainly a pleasure to call Jeff a friend.    I only saw him a few times a year, but I will truly miss that sense of humor and his attitude of "living the dream".      Jeff also always made it very clear that he was extremely proud of his children.   Sorry I won't be able to attend the service, but my condolences to the entire family on a life cut short.    I know we all have many fond memories of the time we shared with Jeff.  

          

When I would ask Jeff what he was up to, he always said "my perfect weight if I was seven feet tall".  Always a joke, a laugh or a tale.  His friends will miss him, but as we remember him it will be with a laugh or a smile.

To his family, my sincere condolences  for your loss. Jeff indeed left us way too soon, and the family will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.  I would like to share with you an Irish blessing that has helped me in times like these...May God Bless You.

He was a great friend that would give the shirt off his back to help someone. He had a huge heart, always joking and enjoying life.  Even though we are hackers I truly enjoyed our rime together on many golf courses. He will be sorely missed. He is now living the next dream!

Jeff was so very sweet and always making someone laugh. He was larger than life and always 'living the dream' as we do here at FSG. He was family and will be missed. Thoughts and prayers are with his family 

Jeff was our neighbor in 2 different hoods...over our 20 years we watched each other's kids grow up, shared many a laugh and a beer.   He was our true friend and he will be missed very very much. ♥️

Jeff was such a good friend and a kind man.  He could always make you laugh.  He took care of his older neighbor when help was needed.  He was always “living the dream”.  My husband and I will miss him so much!
