

Jeremiah Jackson Raisch, Sr. Jeremiah Jackson Raisch, Sr., 80, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2003. He was born November 22, 1922, in Houston, Texas. He was a decorated World War II Veteran receiving for heroism, the Silver Star, the Distinguished Service Cross, the Distinguished Flying Cross, and the Purple Heart as well as many others. He is survived by his three children: his son Jeremiah J. Raisch, Jr., and his wife Phyllis Niver Raisch of Austin, Texas his daughters Susan Raisch of Sunnyvale, California, and Barbara Raisch Bryant of Ventura, California, his grandchildren Natasha Louise Raisch, Alexander Niver Raisch, Zachary Ian Bryant, and Elliot Coleman Bryant, his sisters Barbara Raisch Long of Rockport, Texas, and Nancy Raisch Stephens of Odessa, Texas, and his loyal and loving friends from the Common Interest, who were always there for him. His lust for life will always be remembered by the good music he danced to, the wonderful food he prepared and the presence of good company. We will always remember him as the most loyal fan of the University of Texas: his blood ran orange. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2003 at St. David's Episcopal Church, 7th and San Jacinto Streets in Austin, with internment to follow at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery.
