Jesse Ray Cole Jr.

Jesse Ray Cole, Jr., 3 years old of Leander, Texas passed away peacefully on May 31st, 2025 surrounded by loving family. Jesse Jr. was born Feb 3rd, 2022 in Austin, Texas, the son of Jesse Cole & Jennifer Whitley. Though his time with us was brief, he filled our lives with immeasurable joy, love, and wonder.

Jesse Jr. was a bundle of joy who had a unique spirit that captivated everyone he met. He would light up every room he walked into with his contagious smile and beautiful smiling eyes. He gave the best hugs ever that were warm , tight, and filled with pure affection that would leave everyone feeling cherished and special. Jesse Jr. had an innate love for nature as he was often found outside playing (or chasing) with the chickens or collecting sticks and marveling at their shapes and textures, and turning them into treasures with his imagination. Jesse Jr. also enjoyed watching Bluey and Cocomelon, playing with chalk, eating Cheerios and to “tickle tickle” anyone he sat next to.

Over the last few months, Jesse Jr. started Pre-K where he started to blossom into an even more fun bundle of joy to watch grow. He was learning and thriving and getting to meet new friends and it was such an amazing experience to get to witness, whether it was learning simple sign language like “I LOVE YOU”, expanding his spoken words and learning meanings to new words or running around & playing with new friends on the playground.

Jesse Jr. truly was an angel on earth, bringing light & laughter into everyone's life he met. His infectious giggle & radiant smile brightened even the darkest of days, and his curiosity & wonder reminded us all to appreciate the simple joys of life.

Jesse Jr. was greeted at the gates of heaven by his Great Grandparents, Larry & Alberta King and his Mamaw, Rita Whitley.

Jesse Jr. is survived by his loving parents Jesse Cole & Jennifer Whitley, Uncle John Cole & Aunt Heather Wiemers. His Papaw (Danny Whitley) & Opa & Oma (Phil & Teri Wiemers) & his loving brothers & sisters, Emily, Salem & Jack. His Uncles Coy, Daniel & Josh, Aunt Valerie, and cousins Coleton, KimMarie, McKenna, Kaleb, Anisa, Stassi, Payton, Raelynn & Mason. Along with many other Aunts & Uncles, Cousins and family members. Jesse Jr. will never be forgotten and will always be remembered for his most loving hugs.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that he is now in the arms of angels, watching over us with his endless love.

A memorial service will be held on Friday June 20th at 2:00pm at Cook Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home at 9700 Anderson Mill Rd., Austin TX, 78750. To help honor Jesse's legacy, the family is requesting their guests to wear his favorite shades of color....blue, green or purple.
