Jesse R. Hernandez, age 85, of Austin, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Estella; son, Jesse Jr.; daughters, Mary Alice Guajardo (Rudy), Irene Rios (Ralph), Olga Hernandez; sisters, Sandy Hernandez, Ramona Figueroa, Nellie Meyers; five generations grandchildren; numerous nieces; nephews; and cousins. Jesse was a member of the Knights of Columbus and usher at San Jose Catholic Church. Family members will serve as pallbearers. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at San Jose Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
