Jessie C. Gonzales

Jessie C. Gonzales of Austin passed away on the 14th day of December, 2010 at the age of 56. Jessie was born to Benito Ramirez Gonzales and Mary Orzaual Cuellar Gonzales on June 12, 1954. After attending high school, Jessie started his career as a contractor where he was a perfectionist at his craft. Throughout his life, Jessie was a hard worker, making sacrifices for his family, and taking on many responsibilities which made him a trust-worthy, honest, and a respected man.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. Family was important to him; he was a sweet and loving father and grandfather. He had a great sense of humor and a wonderful smile. Jessie found the Lord as an adult and believed in Him with all his heart. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jessie is survived by his 4 children, Mary Jane Pindar her husband Mark, Maria Johns and her husband Matt, Jesse ‘Junior’ Gonzales, and Gilbert Diaz and his wife Janet; his grandchildren, Brandon Pindar, Natalie Pindar, Maddox Johns, AJ Diaz, Leyla Diaz, Ariana Diaz, Neesa Perez and 2 more grandchildren are expected soon; 7 brothers and 3 sisters; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock in the evening until eight o’clock in the evening on Friday, the 17th of December at

Cook-Walden Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning on Saturday the 18th of December in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
