Kathy, Your Mom was a beautiful lady. She was always smiling and upbeat,  it was always so nice to see her when she came by to visit at the office!  With sincerest sympathy for you and your family during this time of loss.

Oh my goodness. Just the mention of “Jimmie” takes me back to so many happy, fun, funny, sweet memories of her. She was a very PRECIOUS, GODLY friend who ALWAYS had the biggest smile on her face. Her happiness was contagious. She truly loved the LORD, and now she gets to spend eternity with HIM. Thank you JESUS.

So, one memory I want to share is of course, funny. A group of us were at Applebee’s eating lunch. When the table across from us asked the waitress for their bill, the waitress said that some nice people at another table had paid for their lunch. Hearing this, Jimmie immediately said, well can you give them our bill too? Ha, Ha. It was never a dull moment when you had the pleasure of sharing company with Jimmy.❤️

Jimmie will always be in our hearts. May GOD’s love and comfort help sustain you during this very difficult time of saying goodbye.

Kathy, we were so blessed to have known Jimmie.  Right after our church blended with Kinney Avenue, I called her up and she invited me over for a visit.  We hit it right off and sat and visited for an hour or so.  She worked with me to contribute food for a meal for a church family who’d lost a loved one.  Thomas and I loved her enthusiasm and positive attitude about most everything.  She was a very special lady.  

Kathy,  I have so many wonderful memories of your mother not only of my many memories of driving her, Frances Horton, Gerry Beckland and Louise Truehart to lunch every Sunday after church.  She kept us all in stitches with her funny humor.  I will always remember her picking up her walker so she could walk faster and beat us all to the door.   My hope is that I can have as much energy, vitality and joy of life as Jimmie.  She was an inspiration to everyone who knew her. 
I will miss her so much.  She was loved I am so grateful that I had a chance to have a good conversation with her and tell her the day before she went to the hospital.  She was still so sharp but I could tell that she was tired and ready to meet her Lord

Even though Mrs. Jimmie had to use a walker, she moved pretty fast, so I called her Speed Racer! We always had a good laugh over that!!  When we joined Kinney Avenue, she just took me under her wing and was so kind and made David and I feel so loved and welcome!! When we would pick her up to take her to church she was always sharing something funny with us!!! She was a real special lady and I am so grateful  God put her in my life!! Even though we talked on the phone about once a week, I will miss her a lot, but I know she is walking and talking with Jesus!!!

Jimmie was a holy firecracker who is lighting up Heaven with her joy and laughter. She so loves God and His Word and now she’s in the Presence of the Living Word—our Savior—surrounded by so many loved ones who went before.  I’ll never forget you, sweet friend, and I look forward to our happy reunion. 

Miss Jimmie touched my life with her friendly manner, her energy, her sparkling eyes. I’m so blessed to have known her.  My love and prayers to her sweet family. 

To Kathy and family.  I was so sorry to hear Jimmie has passed, but she is in heaven with your Dad and so happy at last. I enjoyed and was honored to be her friend.  We had lots of laughs. She was always so joyful and truly loved the Lord. I can see her in heaven making everyone laugh. God bless you. Pat Cowan
