Joe Murchison Joe Murchison departed this earth on Wednesday, March 19, 2008. He had a successful career as an independent paint contractor for over 30 years. During the last five years, he enjoyed a career at the Texas Department of Public Safety as a Security Guard. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Murchison. He is survived by his devoted loving wife, Yon; children, Kathy and Ronald Hays, Stephen and Kirsten Murchison, Karen and Hal Klein, Suemei and Tony Ballou, Thomas Knickerbocker, Mary Knickerbocker; grandchildren, Jimmy, Kevin, Erin, William, Garrett, Seth, Patrick, Michael, Austin, Nicholas, Hallie and Avery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2008 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home.
