John (Johnny) Townsend, age 63 of Austin, Texas passed away Sunday, March 11, 2007. Just forget if you can, that I ever frowned and only remember the smile. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glady Franklin and Jack Townsend. He is survived by his loving companion Fannie Salyer; step-father, Henry Franklin; sisters, June Pelat, Kati Butler, Cheryl Whittington; step-son, Jesse Nellis; step-brothers, Henry Franklin Jr., Danny Franklin; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Chapel. Interment will follow at Decker United Methodist Church Cemetery.
