Johnnie A. Elmore, age 87, of Austin, died Monday, January 2, 2006. Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Donald C. Elmore. Johnnie is survived by her daughters, Margaret Fewell and husband Denzil, Mary Elmore; sons, Don Elmore and wife Karla, Harold Elmore, all of Austin; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Theresa Bobbitt, Dean Mick and Betty Sullivan, all of Texas. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the nurses and staff of Gracy Woods II Living Center for their care and especially their love for Mom. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church with Fr. Joe Tomei, CSC, officiating.
