He was born October 8, 1957, in Austin, Texas. He was employed by Travis County Parks and 7-Eleven Convenience Stores and was a loyal and trusted employee. He had a wonderful sense of humor and outgoing personality. He made the best brisket and barbeque sauce in the world. He also enjoyed watching sports and gardening. Joe will be missed very much by his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughters, Allie Flint and Mandi Ainsworth and husband Cody; his much loved girlfriend, Elaine Sager; his brother John R. Flint II; his sisters Patricia L. Watts and husband Kenneth; Peggy L. Bowen and husband Ray; Pamela L. Busch and husband Chuck; Phyllis L. Woods and husband David; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John R. and Lucille P. Flint, brother, James R. Flint, and sister Priscilla L. Green.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. and Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6300 W. William Cannon, Austin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
