Josephine Prowse Edwards May 11, 1909 May 2, 2005 Josephine Prowse Edwards died in Shreveport, Louisiana. A longtime resident of Austin, she was the daughter of Joe O. Prowse and Ida Belle Hensel. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd L. Edwards; her brother, Joe Buddy Prowse; and her son, Charles Joseph Edwards of Marietta, Georgia. She is survived by her son, Allan F. Edwards; two grandchildren, Sherri Edwards Cochran and Taylor Alexander Peden and one great-grandson, Ian Cochran. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 5th at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2005 at Austin Memorial Park.
