Josephine Dorothy Healy, a new resident of Austin, formerly of Tampa and Lighthouse Point, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2006. A devoted mother and grandmother, a charming and high spirited friend, she will be missed by those whose lives she has touched. Josephine was born on August 24, 1913 to Mr. and Mrs. Michael Molis in Boston, Massachusetts, where she spent most of her life. She relocated to sunny Florida to live out her later years. Recently, she moved to Austin to be closer to her son and his family. She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved sister, Michaeline Marksteiner; her brother, Frank Molis; and her husband, Edmund P. Healy. Josephine is survived by her son, Edmund G. Healy; her grandchildren, Callie, Michael, and Meg Healy; her brothers, Walter Molis and Mike Molis; and her many nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your favorite charity would be appreciated by her family.
