Judith Maupin

Judith Maupin of Paducah, Kentucky passed away on May 7th, 2022, at the age of 80, just one day shy of turning 81. She was born on May 8th, 1941, in the State of Kentucky where she grew up in a small town called Paducah with eight brothers and sisters.

She had a wonderful, long career owning an in-home childcare business where she met many wonderful families. She was always involved with her children and adored her grandchildren more than words can express.

She is preceded in death by her son Randy Hudson and daughters Julie Ibarra and Tanya Maupin. She is survived by her daughters Karen Jones, Tina West, Aleesha Maupin, and Angie Hertel.

The family would like to thank all of the doctors, caregivers, nurses, and hospice staff that helped care for their loving mother all these many years.

Thank you to her granddaughter Kamrin and her daughters for loving her and taking exceptional care of her.

She was definitely loved and cherished.

A visitation for Judith will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749. A funeral service will occur Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christian Life Austin, 4700 West Gate Blvd, Austin, TX 78745. A graveside service will occur Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749.
