

Judith Jeanne Tixier of Dripping Springs, Texas passed away peacefully on March 7, 2024, at the age of 69 of pancreatic cancer. Her faith and positive and joyful outlook remained strong throughout her cancer journey. Judy was born on November 8, 1954, in Sacramento, CA to Edward L. and Jean M. Tixier. She married Stuart L. Fyall on June 26, 1982, in Cairo Egypt. They met while Stuart was on a rugby tour from the UK in Washington DC in 1979 where Judy also played rugby.
She is survived by her husband Stuart Fyall of Dripping Springs; daughter Jeanne Esther Fyall Cardenas and husband Matthew and three precious grandchildren Rory, Maya, and Leo from Leland, North Carolina; and son Andrew Scott Fyall a seminarian with the Diocese of Austin studying in Rome, Italy. Also, brother Jim Tixier and wife Laurie; and, sisters Tracy Tixier, Margaret Harville and husband Don, Suzanne Runyan and husband Perry, Lee McBryde and husband Kevin, and Mary Fairchild. Plus, nephews and nieces and her many super good friends she had known for years. Family and friends were always the number one priority in her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ed and Jean Tixier.
Judy attended Arizona State University graduating with a BS degree in Business in 1976 and George Washington University with an MBA in Finance and Investment in 1981. She worked for many years as an Administrator in law firms in Washington DC, obtained her Texas Real Estate License, and before retiring from the workforce she served as the Business Manager at her home parish of St. Martin de Porres where she also served on a number of organizations and ministries. Her faith was most important to living her life.
A Catholic Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church followed by a reception in the parish hall.
