Julie Lynn Aaronson Keim, 58, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 20, 2009. Julie was born on August 9, 1951 in McAllen, Texas to her devoted parents, Myles and Sylvia Aaronson. Julie grew up in the Valley with her older brother Lee and younger sisters Carolyn and Vicki. She attended The University of Texas and graduated from the University of New Orleans where she won the Most Promising Artist award. In New Orleans she immediately fell forever in love with her husband of 25 years, David Keim. Together Julie and David had three incredible and unique boys: Jeffrey, Danny and Michael, whom she deeply cherished and adored. Julie found immense pleasure in helping others and was able to do so through her work with the Amala Foundation and its annual summer camp, Camp Indigo. Julie left an indelible mark on every life she touched. Her sparkling wit, distinct style, unprecedented zest for life and most of all her unconditional love welcomed everyone she knew into her heart without the slightest bit of judgment. Julie was a truly remarkable lover, wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend whose presence will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Julie and her spirit will remain an inspiration to all of us. Funeral services will be held at Weed-Corley-Fish (www.wcfish.com) 3125 N.
