Justine was born April 29, 1937 in Austin, Texas to George G, and Maurine Darragh. She attended Bertram High School and Austin High School. She was a life-long learner, attending Centenary College of Louisiana and The University of Texas, where she graduated in 1980 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She took many other classes at other institutions before and after that time, as well.
Justine studied art her entire life and was a talented painter and sculptor, among many other forms of art.
Justine worked as a real estate broker and loved helping people. She also loved traveling and seeing the world. She had a special affinity for Mexico and Mexican culture. She also loved animals and spending time with friends and family.
Justine was preceded in death by her aforementioned parents and her husband of 29 years, Rudy Nygren, who passed away in 2005. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, George (Butch) and Kim Marshall; her grandson, Chad; and his three daughters, Sophia, Maura and Mariska; and granddaughter, Ashley along with her husband, Nathan and their four children, Joshua, Asher, Ellie and Luke; and her beloved tortoise, Poncho.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 16th at 2:00 p.m. at Austin Memorial Park located at 2900 Hancock Dr., Austin, TX 78731.
