Kimberly Lynn Stewart

Kimberly graduated from Del Valle High School in 1987. She was honored with the award of being "Best Dressed", was a cheerleader and was nominated as a "Homecoming Queen" at Del Valle.

Kimberly was an office manager at Hall Chiropractic for several years in the late 1980's. As with many of her family members, Kimberly loved to work on race cars. She loved to work on arts and crafts, quilting and owned a resale shop in Manchaca, "Garage Sale Heaven".

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hubert & Lucille Stewart, grandfather, Jake Wallace Sr.

Kimberly is survived by her two children, Kristina Salazar and Devin Hufford both of Austin; her parents, Danny Stewart and wife, Charlotte Crye of Buda, Sandra Potts of Austin, Mary Ann Naumann and husband H. E. of Del Valle; her brothers, Daniel Stewart of Austin, Heath Stewart and wife Crissy of Del Valle; two step-brothers, Gabriel Crye and Justin Crye of Waco; grandson, Izaiah Menjivar of Austin; grandparents, Dorothy and Sonny Becker of Dripping Springs, Frankie Wallace of Del Valle; her nephews Seth Stewart of Forney, Texas and Caleb Crye of Waco; her nieces, Presley Stewart and Taylor Stewart of Del Valle; her life partner of many years David Funderberg and his daughters, Samantha and Mandi of Austin; and many other family members.

Memorial Services will be held at 5:00 pm Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Ave, Austin, Texas with Rev. Frank Spillman.

The family wishes to thank Hospice-Austin for all their love and kindness they showed during Kimberly's illness.
