Lauren Alex Wiatrek, 41 years old, of Austin, Texas, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ’s loving arms on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 9:42 PM, healed and whole, beautiful and perfect.
Lauren was a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ, making Him known to all she encountered. She was a beautiful, loyal and devoted wife to her husband and a fiercely dedicated mother to her two precious daughters. Lauren was a committed daughter and trustworthy friend. She loved her people passionately and never missed an opportunity to encourage others in Truth and Love. For Lauren, the more the merrier, always seeking adventure and making memories with her family and friends. She loved completely, lived fully, and selflessly gave of herself always. Her life magnified Christ. Jesus was and is and forever will be her light, her hope, her promise.
Lauren is survived by her faithful husband of 14 years 5 months 23 days 3 hours 12 minutes, Evan Wiatrek, and her beloved daughters, Halen, 11 years old, and Henley, 9 years old; her mother, Charl Meyers; her father, Fred Meyers; her brother Chase Meyers and his wife Heather, and their three children, Crash, Jagger and Zoe.
Lauren’s Celebration of Life will be held at Hill Country Bible Church in Austin, Texas on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to a custodial Venmo account established for the future care and needs of Halen and Henley Wiatrek. Funds will be transferred into a UTMA (Uniform Transfers to Minors Act) account, which Evan Wiatrek will manage for the girls’ future needs and well-being. Venmo: @WiatrekFamily
