The family would like to express their gratitude to numerous caregivers at Seton Northwest Hospital, Central Texas Rehabilitation Hospital and Seton Medical Center Austin who provided tireless care for him and compassionate support to his children over these last few weeks. In particular, we’d like to personally thank Holly with the Palliative Care team, IMC Nurse Joy, and IMC CNA Lauren who laughed with us, sang Dad’s favorite country tunes with us and cried with us as they held our hands while we walked this journey with our Dad. Your kindness and compassion will forever remain in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, May 21 at 4:00pm at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home located at 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin Texas 78750.
In honor of Dad we ask that you please dress casually for the Celebration of Life. He was a simple man, and took pride in the simple things life offered. Above all, he would want everyone to be comfortable and casual, there to enjoy your time together, sharing memories.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to the The Haley E. Nowak Foundation, in memory and honor of his late granddaughter.
