LINDA YELL DORCHESTER, 57, passed away on December 13, 2006. She is survived by her husband Ronald, children Dusty, Mark and Alexis, grandchildren Aubrey and McKenna, brother Lindsey, sister Ila, son-in-law Fernando and many other family members. Born in Pampa, Texas, Linda always thought of herself as a "Panhandle-girl" no matter where she lived or roamed. She had a wide circle of friends and interests and was a devoted mother, wife and friend. Linda worked in sales and marketing in the furniture industry, was the first marketing director of Prime Cable, represented independent oil and gas producers and coordinated marketing efforts for several Austin-based enterprises before finding her true calling. Linda "lived to" explore the human condition, examine spirituality, illuminate alternatives for addressing individual circumstances and encourage thoughtful contemplation of what is really true. Her enterprise, IT BEGINS NOW, was a vehicle for positive change in people's lives. With a personality "bigger than the Panhandle", a beautiful form and a positive outlook Linda was a blessing and an inspiration to a lot of people in a lot of places. She had a unique character. She was interested in the world. She tried her best to enjoy life. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home in Austin. Obituary and guestbook online at wcfish.com
