Lola Watson was born May 26, 1914 in Sweetwater, Texas to Mack and Laura Johnson. She went to be with Our Lord September 1, 2015. Lola married her high school sweetheart Dr. Luther M. Watson. They lived in Austin where he practiced dentistry until his death in 1981. They had three daughters, Sarah Meinscher, Betty Arnette, and Gay Karhan.
Lola was a Christian lady who spent much of her time raising her family. She was an artist, an excellent seamstress, a talented musician and volunteered much of her time and energy to her church and other organizations.
She had seven Grandchildren. They are, along with their spouses, Linda & Chris Kugel, Mike & Paula Meinscher, Curt & Melisa Arnette, Mitzi & Greg Hovre, Bart & Kim Arnette, Colby Karhan and his sister Casey Karhan. Lola had nine Great-grandchildren; Jules, Sterling, & Mason Meinscher, Heidi, Ellie, &
Lilly Hovre, Haley & Jackson Arnette,Marcus Sarsfield and his wife Melissa.
We, as a family, praise God for allowing us to spend these precious, memorable years with her.
