Lominta was born December 2, 1946 as the third daughter to Congressman James William Loving Jr. and Patricia Rogers Loving. During her lifetime, Lominta worked as a designer and realtor. She had an eye for style and could make anything look perfect no matter how small the budget. She loved to travel and saw many places including: Spain, Mexico, New York, and Ireland. She also lived in Mexico, San Francisco, and Arizona during her life. However, she always seemed to find her way back to Austin. She and her friends formed a book/wine club where they enjoyed discussing literature and planning activities around the characters in the books. Lominta was, also, a lover of music and enjoyed going to see shows with her husband and friends whenever possible.
Lominta is survived by her husband , Larry Francis; her devoted sisters, Patricia Loving, Mary Carolyn Howe, and Alice Brown; her two children, Lisa Nicole Kamp and Esau Loving Milenthal; and her seven grandchildren, Harper Kamp, Stevie Kamp, Sam Kamp, Snow Kamp, Casey Loving, Connor Ely, Haley McDonald, and Atticus Loving Milenthal. She remains close with the children of her late husband, Rex Loftis, he passed away on September 15, 1999.
The family would like to say a special thank you to all of her friends who went above and beyond in helping her through this very hard time. They were truly blessed to have your help and support. “You is kind, you is smart, you is important.”
