She is survived by her son Don Herrera and wife Betty Jean, daughter Bette Jo “B.J.” Zamora and husband Abel, stepson Edward Moya, Sr and wife Dale of Del Valle, Texas, Gloria Astran of Kyle, Texas, 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, brother Henry “Hank” Gonzalez and wife Ana of Austin.
Lucille was preceded in death by parents Julian and Agnes Gonzalez, brother Julian Gonzalez of Garland, Texas, sisters Ann Alvarado, Josephine Alba, Gloria Adams, Stella Gonzales, all of Austin and Rosie Tinajero of Buena Park, California.
Lucille was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, 330 E. Monroe, Austin. She was an avid fan of the Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys.
Visitation will be at the Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral home on Monday, February 9, 2026, 4:00pm – 8:00pm. Service will be conducted on February 10, 2026, 11:00am at Christ Lutheran Church, 300 E. Monroe, by the Rev John C. Stennfeld. Interment will be at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35.
