Lupe Mireles Davila

Lupe was a devoted wife, mother grandmother and great grandmother. She lived her life with compassion and love for all. Her heart was filled with so much love for her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, reading, music, cooking channels and watching Novelas. She always made her home feel warm and inviting. She was one of a kind, beautiful and loving with a gentle heart.

Lupe is preceded in death by her beloved brother, John Mireles, and uncle Vicente Mireles and aunt Benita Mireles who raised her from the age of 3 years old.

Lupe is survived by her husband of 46 years, Paul Davila; daughter, Rosanne Medina and husband, Mario; son, Mark Davila and wife, Sandra; son, Jon Paul Davila and wife, Michelle; sister-in-law, Mary Mireles; sister, Mary Gamez; brother, Vicente Mireles, Jr.; brother, Marsalino Mireles; sister, Virginia Estrada; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 3 step-grandchildren.

A special thanks to Dr. Jason Malear and Staff with Texas Oncology and to all the Doctors and Nurses at Seton Medical Center who cared for her during her illness.
