Manuel was a veteran of World War II. He was honored with the Victory Medal and also with the Philippines Independence Ribbon.
Manuel worked for 22 years with the City of Austin, he was a proud and dedicated employee.
Manuel was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Connie and loving daughter, Agnes Marie and brother Tom Cavazos. He is survived by his children; Sylvia Watkins (Scott), Judy Lopez (John), David Cavazos (Teresa) and Marie McCullough (Donald), sister Theresa Ramos and brother Pete Torres. Thirteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 S. Congress Ave. Funeral service will be 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Assumption Cemetery Chapel with burial following at Assumption Cemetery
