Manuel Rodriguez Mata, age 61, of Austin, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2006. Preceded in death by his parents, Aurelio and Rosa Mata; sister, Georgia Hipolito; brother, Pete Mata. He is survived by his loving wife, Olivia Mata; daughters, Judy Martinez and husband Ernie, Sandra Mata, Joann Mata; adopted children, Josie T. Mata (Monkey), Stevie Ray Mata (Little-Mexican); step-children, Adolph Trevino, Pete Trevino, Frank Trevino, Mary Trevino, Irma Trevino, Al and Charlotte Trevino, Marc Trevino, Felix and Sandra Trevino, Paul and Vanessa Trevino; sisters, Elodia Murillo and husband Louis, Martina Velasquez and husband Gilbert, Lupe Reedy and husband Rico; brothers, Aurelio Mata, Jr. and wife Jacinta, Joe Mata and wife Anita; 30 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and his best friend and horse “Slick”.
