I want to say to all of you -- Ralph, Nancy, Andrew, Anthony and Cynthia -- that I am very saddened about Margaret's passing and I am very sorry for your loss. When I think of Margaret, I see her as a lovely, beautiful, and gracious woman, involved in life and with a lively and curious mind, well educated and knowledgeable, enjoying music, plays, and engaging in cultural endeavors. I enjoyed her smiles and laughter and the sparkle in her eyes when she talked of things of interest. I always wondered where she was and what she was doing, She will most certainly hold a special place in my heart and I will remember her goodwill, kindness, congeniality, and tact.

I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing.  My condolences to you and your family.

I was blessed as a Hospice volunteer to visit with Margaret weekly. I found we both liked to listen to "My Fair Lady".  I tried Porgy and Bess briefly as she mentioned that musical also. 
The last several weeks we chatted a lot more. She was disappointed one week when we talked more than we listened to the music. What a kind, loving person she was. She loved her family and the Longhorns.

When I think of Margaret, it's of her lovely red hair and beautiful smile.  And, of her as a gracious hostess.   42 years ago, when Nancy and I met and became life long friends, Margaret  served me the tiniest but most delicious cup of coffee.  It was in her prized demitasse cups and I felt so special.  Being a mug kind of ranch girl, it had to be refilled several times.  Delish!!!  Too, her beautiful roses.  She and I share a deep love of Tropicana (salmon colored) roses.  Margaret has been a wonderful cultural role model for me.  A very special woman.  Thank you for being my friend.  And, thank you to all of your family for sharing you.  Sharon C.
