Maria Rodriguez Venegas 87, of Austin, Texas born in Santa Rosa, Texas on December 19, 1929 was taken to heaven on May 3, 2017. She is preceded in death by Alfredo, Ida, Alfredo Jr. and Francisco Venegas.
Maria leaves behind four children: Eduardo (Gladys), Charles (Celia), Lydia (Garen), and Irene Venegas; 9 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress, Austin, Texas 78704.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
