Maria Clara Saenz Turner, 56, of Austin, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 23, 2011. She was born on September 27, 1955 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Robert Saenz and Rosa Gray. Maria was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Kenneth Turner; children, Shawn Carrasco, Samantha Colorado and Eric Martinez, Jose Samuel Carrasco, Tanya De Los Santos, and Mona De Los Santos; siblings, Lazaro Martinez, Rosemary Rodriguez and husband Richard, Gregory Anthony Rodriguez and wife Janie, and Frank Rodriguez; stepfather, Joe Rodriguez; 14 grandchildren; numerous other relatives; and a host of friends.
Vigil Services will be at 7:00 P.M., Monday, December 26, 2011 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with Deacon Jose Mendez officiating.
