Martin C. Warren, Sr., age 98, of Austin, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2004. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; daughter, Gail Norris and husband Larry; and grandson-in-law, Bob Williams. Survivors include his wife of 77 years, Gussie Mae Warren; daughters, Margaret Edwards and husband Jimmie, Virginia Thompson and husband Wesley, and Julia Finegan and husband Charles; son, Marty Warren and wife Carol; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 7, 2004, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home, with Dr. S. Nelson Lanham officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Oaks Memorial Park, with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
