MaryAnn Escoto, 62, was born on July 26th, 1956 in Austin, Texas to Martha and Ramon Ortiz. She departed this life on Saturday, September 1st, 2018 with her family by her side. MaryAnn went to school up to the 9th grade and had continued on to finish the process of receiving her GED. She was married to Joe Escoto for over 45 years. She worked as an assistant daycare teacher at multiple centers for over 30 years then worked for the school district for about 5 years. Mary’s interests and hobbies included her family, gardening, puzzles, go for walks, volunteering, and being involved with the community and friends around her. She devoted much of her time and energy as a babysitter/ caregiver to family members and friends. Her charm, smile, and kind soul could enlighten anyone at any given moment. She is survived by her spouse, Joe, and their three children, Eric, Rosalinda, Mary Esther; 11 grandchildren, 3 sisters, 1 brother, and 1 aunt, over 20 cousins, and 12 more nieces/nephews. Mary spent her recent few remaining days in the company of her family members.
