Mary Virginia Flores, 72, of Austin, died January 17, 2015, at her home. Born December 25, 1942, in Austin, the daughter of Lovell G. and Rosa Rodriguez Ellerthorpe. Married Juan J. Flores, and they enjoyed 48 wonderful years together. She was a Branch Manager at University Savings for 20 years, and then an employee of Walmart for 13 years. She loved and was an avid bingo player, come rain, sleet or snow. She also loved dancing, and especially spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband Juan J. Flores, sons James Flores and his wife Alice, Antonio Flores and his wife Elizabeth. Also survived by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Wanda Torres and her husband Willie, and Carol Malin and her husband Jerry. Predeceased by parents, brother Patrick and sisters Phyllis and Diana.
Visitation 5 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 N. Lamar Blvd., Austin. A Celebration of her Life will begin at 7 p.m., followed by the recitation of The Holy Rosary.
