

Mary Jane met the love of her life Leonard “Len” Ciesla at a wedding in which they were both attendants, and after falling in love they were married on October 16, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois.
Mary Jane and Len were the best of friends and companions until the end. Mary Jane possessed a passion for cooking and nurturing and enjoying her children and grandchild. Together Mary Jane and Len loved to travel and simply sharing life together as both husband and wife and committed partners. Throughout their marriage Mary Jane showed support, patience, and enduring love and devotion to her entire family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be dearly missed by everyone blessed to have known her.
Mary Jane is preceded by her parents, and twin brother, Joseph Svadlenka.
Mary Jane is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Leonard Ciesla; daughter, Karen Ciesla and her daughter, Emma; son, Mike Ciesla and wife Sarah and other loving family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 W. William Cannon Dr., Austin, TX 78749.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Emmaus Catholic Church, 1718 Lohmans Crossing, Lakeway, TX.
