Matt Eastwood

Matt graduated from Berkner High School in Richardson, TX. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin. Matt chose a career in information technology working for OmniFax, Plantinum, SiteStuff and finally Dell where most recently he served as Senior Business Analyst.

Matt was intense, extraordinarily bright and an avid reader and thinker. Matt was an excellent provider for his family. He cherished his three children, loved his wife’s cooking, and was just plain goofy over babies, especially his own. He loved biking, hiking, boating, making music, coaching and attending his children’s many musical and sporting events. Matt was a man of faith and a lifetime Lutheran. He took up guitar in adulthood and played often at church services and events.

Matt is survived by his wife DeeDee, his three precious children, sons Mason and Weston and daughter Gabrielle all of Austin, his parents Robert and Martha Eastwood of Richardson TX, his sister Emily Eastwood and her partner Jan Bailey of Richfield, MN, his sister Sharon Villalpando and her husband Armando of Seguin, TX, and more friends than he ever realized. Their grief is unspeakable.

The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. followed by Memorial Services at 2:00 p.m., Saturday October 30, 2010 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church with Pastor Heidi Schwerdtfeger-Jones officiating.
