Max Foradori

Max Foradori, a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and child of God, age 86, of Del Valle, went to be with his Heavenly Father on November 5, 2021. He had been feeling poorly and passed away during the early morning hour.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Wheeler Foradori, son, David Foradori, daughter Marisa Foradori-Abshier and husband Gene Abshier, step daughter Marcia Bruner, brothers Henry Foradory and wife Roxanne, Drue Foradory and wife Joyce, and Arnold Foradory, grandsons David Foradori, Jr., Joshua Abshier, Anthony Abshier, and granddaughter Kaylen Foradori. He left behind many beloved nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be David Foradori, Sr., David Foradori, Jr., Joshua Ryan Abshier, Anthony Glen Abshier, Hank (Henry A) Foradory and John D. Foradory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Foradori and Maxine Herrera Foradori, brothers John Foradory, James Foradory, sisters Julia Lockwood, Mary Meurer, Helen Ragsdale and Olive Nelson, also sisters-in-law Annette Foradory, Lucille Foradory and Jane Foradory.

Max was born in Creedmoor, Travis County, Texas, and would have been 87 years old next month. He lived his life in this area, knew almost everyone and had many friends. He left big footprints.

Before retiring, he owned the landscape company called Big Trees. He planted large trees all over Austin, at residences and businesses. His trees can be seen throughout the city. He helped make Austin beautiful.

We wish to express our sincere appreciation to the Travis County Sheriff’s Department and EMS for their prompt arrival, assistance, and guidance. Thanks to his most loving brother, Henry, who looked after him and saw after his welfare.

Visitation will be at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home on Thursday, November 11, 2021, 5:00 pm-7:00 pm and Rosary will follow at 7:00 pm.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, November 12, 2021 in the Weed-Corley-Fish chapel. Burial will be at Assumption Cemetery. A small fellowship get together with food will follow at Weed-Corley-Fish.
