Melissa is survived by her father, Kenneth Lane; mother, Dorothy LaBron Lane; sisters, Shari Lane-Davis and husband, John, and Cindy Prew and husband, Raymond; fiancé, Billy Wood of New York City, NY; aunts, Martha Lane and Tricia Parker; uncle, Buddy Parker; great aunts, Doris Barber and Hetty Hornbrook; and by her beloved adopted dogs, Katy and Hank.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
