Michael Allen Broadway of Austin, Texas passed away on Monday, January 27th, 2025 at the age of 67. He was born on March 2, 1957 in Austin, Texas and grew up in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Milby High School in 1975. Later, he studied at Austin Community College.
Michael worked as a hospitality manager at several hotels across the country and he worked for the University of Texas at Austin as well. He was actively involved in caregiving, travel, and family. Michael traveled the country and the world…and made friends everywhere he went.
He is preceded in death by their father, Norman Broadway, mother, Shirley Beth Broadway, and sister, April Broadway.
He is survived by his brothers, Chuck, Norman, Randy and sister Dianne.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home at 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, Texas 78749 on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 12 noon. Visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 am. Inurnment to follow at Forest Oaks Memorial Park at 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, Texas, 78749.
