It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Michelle Nicole on May 13, 2021 in Austin, Texas she was only 33 years old. She was a loving Daughter, Granddaughter, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Niece, Cousin and Friend to so many. Michelle was dearly loved by her children, Nathan, James and Edward and they were everything to her.
Besides her children, Michelle is also survived by her Mom and Dad, Jasper and Deanna Brown of Austin, Texas, Father Andrew and Irene Tocci of San Antonio, Texas. Michelle is also survived by her Brothers and Sisters Michael Perez, Megan Preece, Steven and Nicole Tocci and a large loving family of grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Michelle attended Akins High School and Texas State University where she was heavily involved in the music programs. She performed in multiple venues and stadiums and competitions always lovingly calling herself a “band nerd”. She loved being a drum major during her senior year for the “Big and Bold, Blue and Gold” and continued with marching band in college.
She went on to work for the City of Austin in the 911 call center for Austin Police Department always saying she was grateful to help people during their times of need. After many years she transferred to Austin Water, where she met a whole new group of friends and colleagues, loving the work she did there as well. In her free time she was a passionate reader, loved all kinds of music, camping and loved animals of all breeds and species. She will be remembered for her witty sense of humor, her stories and her laughter and the famous “Grandmas Enchiladas” cooking class she coordinated with family recently.
No matter what she accomplished in her life, her greatest love, joy and sense of pride were her children.
She will be deeply missed by us all.
Visitation for Michelle will take place at Cook Walden Forest Oaks Funeral Home 6300 W William Cannon Dr. Austin, Texas 78749 on May 28, 2021 at 10:00 am. Celebration of Life Services will be held immediately following the visitation at 11:00 am.
