Miguel is survived by his wife, Rosa Vega; daughters, Gloria V. Lee (Collis Lee Jr. deceased), Manuelita Vega of Alexandria, Virginia, Ruth Ann Miller (Mark) of McDade, Texas, Rosa M. Jimenez (Jesus); sons, Ruben (Flor) of Bertram, Texas, Miguel A. Vega, Alejandro Vega, Adam Nicholas Vega, Ralph Vega, Rojelio Vega of Lockhart, Texas; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; half-sisters, Consuelo Elizondo of Ft. Worth, Texas, Rachel Palmer of Harlingen, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, February 19, 2016 at San Jose Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Forest Oaks Memorial Park, 6300 West William Cannon Drive.
