She worked at Lockheed for 24 years, retiring in the New Business Finance department.
In her spare time, Miriam loved traveling, especially to the Caribbean where she could be found snorkeling for hours on end. The ocean was her heaven on earth. She was an exceptional cook and baker, even mastering her mother's (Nanny) famous sugar cookies. In her later years, Miriam became involved in adopting senior dogs and spoiling them rotten throughout their last years of life.
Lovingly referred to as "Mimi" by her family, she was preceded in death by her Mother, Effie Smith Mulder, Father, Ralph Mulder, and stepson, Robert Gonzales.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Gonzales, son Ken Barth (wife Lisa), stepdaughter Shelley Mendoza (husband Dan), daughter Krista Pelayo (husband Joe), brother David Mulder (wife Millie), sister Ruth Greever, brother Rudy Mulder (wife Michelle) and sister Roxana Jason (husband Jeff).
