Monica is preceded in death by her grandmother Tiodora Lopez, grandfather Alejandro Lopez, and father Benjamin Soliz.
She is survived by her daughter Alexandria Tiodora Newton, her son Richard Alejandro Newton, her husband Richard Arthur Newton, her sister Mary Esther Gonzalez, and her mother Estella Lopez Soliz.
Monica was an angel in life and her memory will live on in all those who were blessed to have known her.
The family would like to thank everyone for the care and compassion they showed Monica in her final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend Monica’s celebration of life on Thursday, January 18. at Cook Walden/ Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 AM with a service beginning at 1:30.
