Ollie Mae Gebert

Ollie graduated from Austin High School in 1949. She worked as a florist at Belding Flower Shop for several years. She was a stay-home Mom until she began working at the Internal Revenue Service until her retirement.

Preceding Ollie in death was her husband, Wilton Gebert; one son, Denver Gebert; parents; four sisters and one brother.

Ollie is survived by a daughter and her husband, Rhonda and Leslie Lyckman of Austin, TX; daughter, Phyllis Land of Midland, TX; granddaughter and husband , Tracey and Robert Brackenridge of Austin, TX; granddaughter and husband, Shanna and Bryan Young of Wallisellen, Switzerland; grandson, Sterling Land and granddaughter , Jatynn Land , both of Midland, TX; five great-grandchildren, Blake Combs and Jasmine of Montgomery, TX; Kyra, Bobby and Kamdyn Brackenridge of Austin, TX; River Rhae Hart of Midland, TX; one great-great grandchild, Aiden Combs of Montgomery, TX; Also, one sister, Jean Wenand of D'Harris, TX.

Ollie was a loving Mother, MaMaw and MeMaw and adored by all of her family. She enjoyed being around loved ones, especially at Christmas time with the Gebert Family and all of those fun and wild Sampier Family Reunions every year. She loved you all.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 14th at 10:00 A.M. and services will immediately follow at 11:00 A.M., Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hill Funeral Home, 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin, Texas. Rev. David Schroder of Redeemer Lutheran Church will be officiating. Burial will be at Austin Memorial Park, 2800 Hancock Drive.
