He graduated from Austin High School, and served in the Air Force in Tokyo, Japan during the Korean Conflict. He married Nancy Verna Shepard (Deceased 1997) August 2, 1952 and they were blessed with three sons, Steven, Timothy and Kris.
Paul loved his family, cars, motorcycles and airplanes.
Paul is survived by his second wife, Marilyn Hilsberg; three sons, Steven, Timothy and Kris (Cindy); four grandchildren, Amanda (Ben), Zayne, Zach and Joshua; two great grandchildren, Jacob and Samuel; as well as two brothers, Don (Jean) and David (Penny).
Viewing and visitation will be held at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Ave, Austin, TX, 78704, from 6 to 8 pm Friday, November 6th.
Funeral will be held Saturday, November 7th at 11am at St. Paul Lutheran Church located at 3407 Red River St, Austin, TX 78705.
