He is survived by his wife and trusted belayer, Suzanne; his daughter, Retta the only girl who could get him to watch every live musical that came through town and his son; Clifford, who was his fishing partner, rope gun, and fellow yogi. Paul is also survived by his parents, Peter and Kay Johnson; brothers Kevin and Jeff and his adoring in-laws, Cheryl, Hushang, Beverly, Cyrus and Kimberly.
Paul will be missed deeply by his family and his Team TopRope crew who he lead through countless adventures in rock climbing, mountain biking, adventure racing, fishing and kayaking.
Visitation will be held, Wednesday, May 20, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held, Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 1:00 P.M.,at Bannockburn Baptist Church.
