Pauline Nancy Tuttle

Pauline Nancy Tuttle, 77, of Austin, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025. She was born on May 22, 1948, in Robinson, Illinois, to Paul and Zena Dollahan. In the summer of 1981, Nancy made Austin her home and never looked back.

Nancy was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Her greatest joy came from time spent with her family and loved ones. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, warm smile, and the way she made everyone feel like family. She was active in her church, where she volunteered in Sunday School, and she loved supporting her grandchildren. Summers at the beach and holidays at the ranch were another favorite way she spent time with those she loved.

In 1987, Nancy began working for the Austin Independent School District as a teaching assistant. She dedicated herself to helping students and supporting teachers for nearly two decades before retiring in 2010. Her compassion, patience, and care left a lasting impact on many children and colleagues.

Nancy is survived by her children: Otie Tuttle and wife Lori of Robinson, Illinois; Tim Tuttle and wife Debbie of Taylor, Texas; and Patrick Tuttle and wife Lorry of Georgetown, Texas. She was the proud grandmother of Jacob, Morgan, Payton, Hanna and husband Zack, Kimberly and her partner Drew, and Jessica. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Alan and Ivy, who brought her endless joy.

She is also survived by her sister, Ruth Coultas of Georgetown, Texas; her brother, Larry Staley and his wife Pat of Port Orchard, Washington; her sister-in-law, Wanda Staley of Robinson, Illinois. Nieces and nephews including Denise, Christina, Stephen, Michael, Samantha, Lori and Sheri Jo. Many beloved friends who became like family, including the Buchanan and Magee families.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Zena Dollahan, and her brother, Gene Staley.

Her legacy of love, strength, and kindness will live on in her family and in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.

A celebration of life for Pauline will be held at 10:00am on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral H, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749.
