Peggy Sue Hudson

Peggy was born in Austin, Texas, March 30, 1947. She married Raymond Stanley Hudson in 1967 with whom she had 2 children. Peggy graduated from Round Rock High School and earned an Associates Degree from Austin Community College. She was a homemaker and stay at home mother before working in the Leander Independent School District as an administrative assistant for over 30 years. Peggy was a past president of the Texas Educational Support Staff Association. She helped provide training and support to other paraprofessionals in the education field. TESA provided her with lifelong friends and many adventures.

Peggy’s greatest joy was her family. She enjoyed traveling and seeing art with her daughter. With her son, she enjoyed cooking and baking. She spent countless hours teaching her three granddaughters how to bake her favorite cookies. Peggy was known as the aunt who provided love and support to her many nieces and nephews.

Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Hudson, her father, Buddy Fredrickson, Sr., her mother, Cliffie Fredrickson Manning, and her brother, Buddy Fredrickson, Jr.

She is survived by her two children, Melissa Hudson of Austin, Texas; and Stan Hudson of Georgetown, Texas, wife Kelli; grandchildren Luna Ray Davis, Ireland Sara Davis, and Ava Ray Hudson; sister, Judy King of Goldthwaite, Texas.

A graveside service for Peggy will take place at 11am on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Teck Cemetery, 2606 Ranch Rd. 620 N, Austin, Texas 78734.
